Minerva Louise at School was on American Bookseller's Pick of the lists. A Friend for Minerva Louise won the Silver Medal from The Society of Illustrators in 1997. It also won Parenting Magazine's Reading Magic Award and was on the Children's Literature Choice list for 1998. Minerva Louise and the Red Truck is recommended by Parent's Choice.
